This section covers basic connection methods, OS layout switching, and battery level checking — enough to get you typing right away.
PMOKEY Aurora 80 offers versatile connectivity with Wired, 2.4GHz Wireless, and Bluetooth modes. To select your connection mode, please refer to the instructions below.
The active mode is indicated by the LEDs on the number row:
1!, 2@, or 3# will illuminate blue.4$ will illuminate green.Please follow the steps below to use the keyboard in Wired Mode:
Fn + 5% until the ESC indicator is selected.Note: There is no LED indicator for Wired Mode. The keyboard is ready to use once connected.
Please follow the steps below to use the keyboard in 2.4GHz Wireless Mode:
Fn + 4$ until the 4$ indicator blinks.💡 Note
For best wireless performance:
- Keep the dongle away from USB 3.0 devices and other 2.4GHz interference sources (such as routers).
- Using a USB extension cable often improves signal stability.
- Optimal distance between keyboard and dongle is within 15 cm.
The PMOKEY Aurora 80 supports connecting up to three different Bluetooth devices. Please follow the steps below to pair your devices:
Fn + 1!, Fn + 2@, or Fn + 3# to select your desired Bluetooth channel. The corresponding number key will flash blue slowly.Fn + 1!, 2@, or 3#) until the blue light starts flashing rapidly. This indicates the keyboard is now in active pairing mode.Bluetooth Channel Mapping

💡Checking Active Connection (While Connected): When the keyboard is successfully connected and operating normally, press and hold the
FNkey to check your current mode. The corresponding number key will illuminate with a solid white backlight:
- Bluetooth Mode:

The keyboard is set to Windows mode by default.
Press and hold Fn + A for 3 seconds to switch between Windows and macOS layouts.
The keyboard will automatically apply the correct key mapping.
Battery level can be checked directly from the keyboard.
Display behavior differs between RGB and Non-RGB versions.
